Hot Dog Lettuce Wraps

Hot dogs are a staple for the 4th of July celebration. The easiest way to make this meal healthier? Cut the bun. Not only will you avoid all of the carbs that come from hot dog buns, but many are made using white flour and sugar that may lead to a crash later in the afternoon or evening. Don't want to miss the fireworks! 🎆 Using a lettuce leaf instead of a bun is an easy way to create a healthier option. Add some fresh, in-season vegetables such as zucchini, bell peppers and onions to make it even better!
California Turkey Burgers + Recipe

Turkey burgers are a fantastic alternative to traditional hamburgers. When prepared correctly, they're much leaner than most hamburgers. For a great turkey burger, use 1 and 1/2 pounds of extra lean ground turkey and prepare them with the following ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup minced scallions
- 3/4 cup teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream
- 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Once again, you can eat these with a lettuce wrap to make them healthier. If one lettuce wrap option is enough for your barbeque, opt for whole wheat options and avoid overly processed buns.
Chicken Foil Packs

One of the best parts about grilling is being able to prepare many items at once. With these foil packs, you can serve your guests a whole meal in one convenient little package. First, prepare some boneless chicken breasts to your liking. Lay the chicken and a vegetable mix of your choice on the strips of foil, and drizzle them with olive oil, butter, and salt & pepper. Fold the foil packets crosswise to completely cover the food, and roll the top and bottom edges to seal them closed. Grill until the internal temperature of chicken reads 170°F on an instant-read thermometer and your vegetables are tender. Then just garnish and enjoy!
